Eight weeks of Waldorf-inspired summer camps offered June - July
on The Waldorf School of Tampa Bay’s
oak-shaded campus.

Our Little Foxes camps for Early Childhood (ages 3½–6) are open to currently enrolled Waldorf School of Tampa Bay students.

Our Grades Program camps (Otters & Panthers, rising grades 1–8) are also open to children from the wider community.

Waldorf Kindergarten summer camp

Themed Weeks.

Each week is themed and will involve a variety of activities and projects that encompass indoor and outdoor activities, including art, crafts, music, games, practical skills, and more.

Camp Schedule & Themes

Week 1 — June 8–12

Little Foxes (PreK & Kindergarten) — Fun with Mud
Messy outdoor play with mud kitchens, water fun, and forest creativity.

River Otters (Rising Grades 1–2) — Journey Under the Sea
Ocean-themed crafts, movement games, and sensory play inspired by the beach.

Florida Panthers (Rising Grades 3–8) — Capoeira: Movement, Music & Brazilian Culture
Learn the dynamic Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira through movement, rhythm, and music.

Week 2 — June 15–19

Little Foxes — Music Around the World
Songs, rhythm games, and handmade instruments from cultures around the globe.

River Otters — Fairy Tale Theater
Storytelling, costumes, puppet making, and imaginative fairy tale performances.

Florida Panthers — Camping & Survival Adventure
Outdoor skills, shelter building, navigation, and wilderness teamwork.

Week 3 — June 22–26

Little Foxes — Storytelling & Puppet Making
Create puppets from natural materials and bring favorite stories to life.

River Otters — Enchanted Forest
Fairy houses, forest treasures, woodland stories, and nature crafts.

Florida Panthers — Water Adventure Week
Water games, obstacle courses, and refreshing summer challenges.

Week 4 — June 29–July 3

Little Foxes — Busy Bees & Garden Friends
Beeswax candles, honey tasting, garden stories, and pollinator discovery.

Otters & Panthers (Grades 1–8) — Classic Children’s Games Week
Timeless playground games, marbles, jump rope, and a handmade game kit.

Week 5 — July 6–10

Little Foxes — Chilly Eats & Summer Treats
Simple cooking, smoothies, berries and cream, and summer picnic foods.

Otters & Panthers — Creative Arts & Crafts Studio
Painting, sculpture, collage, and hands-on artistic exploration.

Week 6 — July 13–17

Little Foxes — Woolly Wonders: Fiber Arts Week
Wet felting, finger knitting, and cozy wool crafts.

Otters & Panthers — Pirates at Sea!
Treasure hunts, pirate games, shipbuilding crafts, and adventurous quests.

Week 7 — July 20–24

Little Foxes — Fairy House Builders
Nature treasures, fairy homes, woodland stories, and a special fairy tea.

Otters & Panthers — Archery: Focus, Skill & Precision
Learn archery fundamentals while building focus, balance, and confidence.

Week 8 — July 27–31

Little Foxes — My Little Storybook
Create and illustrate a handmade book inspired by storytelling and nature.

Otters & Panthers — Capoeira: Movement, Music & Brazilian Culture
Movement, music, instruments, and the joyful Capoeira circle.
